Transporting diners from the Vegas strip to a Venetian piazza, this is a testament to the power of restaurant branding design.
Enoteca San Marco
2007 - 2012
Fantastical authenticity. Enoteca San Marco - situated in Las Vegas’ Venetian hotel - is proudly hyper-Venice. The best of Italian dining on parmiggiano reggiano-encrusted steroids. Evocative of the real Piazza de San Marco, the design is a bit precious, pleasantly dainty, slightly old fashioned, and in a word — real.
The design exercise represented an opportunity to truly take guests on a journey, a brief vacation from day to day life. In doing so we proved once again how powerful restaurant branding can be. To be able to put guests in a certain frame of mind, be it a specific place or simply a mindset, long before they taste a single bite of food, is both magic and memorable. And it elevates what might have been an ordinary dining experience to the stuff of pure joy.
